Peter was amazing and I would highly recommend him for anything assembly or just meeting an important household deadline. My son was turning 5 years old and we purchased the Skyfort II with the tube slide from Backyard Discovery. About 34 steps into a 70 step booklet and less the 24 hours left before my son’s birthday party I realized this project was not going to get finished in time. I reached out to FixTMan and the next morning I had a technician and by 7 PM that night a completed playset. Such a tried and I urge anyone looking for assembly and repairs to reach out immediately.

FixTman LLC. assebled my home gym equipment; Smith Cage Machine, Leg/Hack Press, Adduction/Abduction Machine, and Quad/Glute Press Machine. All of that in about 8 hours (with one guy doing it all by himself.)
There was another Thumbtack contractor that worked with before I knew could also do the job, but they were asking more than my budget allowed for this project. So I took a chance and went with FixTman LLC. and I'm glad I did.
I'm so impressed and pleased, and the cost came in at budget. I know I should've included pictures but I didn't want delay in writing this review.

I hired them to disassemble my BodyCraft FXT home gym, move it from my garage to the basement, and reassemble it. They did an excellent job from start to finish.
The team was very professional, careful with the equipment, and clearly experienced with fitness machines. The whole process went smoothly, and everything was reassembled perfectly and working great.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Service Policies
1. Scheduling, Rescheduling & Cancellations
• Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for changes or cancellations.
• Same-day cancellations or reschedules may incur a $50 fee to compensate technician travel time.
2. Unboxing & Liability
• Please do not open boxes before your appointment. If opened, FixTman cannot be held responsible for missing or damaged parts.
• The remaining balance is due once replacement parts are supplied (if applicable).
3. Moving & Haul-Away
• FixTman does not move, haul, or dispose of furniture or packaging.
• Please ensure items are in their final installation room before your technician arrives.
4. 30-Day Workmanship Guarantee
• Every service includes a 30-day warranty covering workmanship-related issues.
• This warranty excludes manufacturer defects, weak walls/floors, or misuse after installation.
• Warranty coverage applies only if FixTman is allowed to inspect and resolve the issue.
5. Refund & Service Policy
• Once work begins, service fees are non-refundable.
• If any issue arises from FixTman’s workmanship, we’ll repair or re-assemble at no charge.
• Product replacements or manufacturer defects are not covered.
6. Payment Policy
• A 20% deposit is required to schedule your service.
• Please do not pay the technician directly — all payments are securely processed through FixTman.
• Full payment is due upon completion of the job.
