About

I have been teaching piano for 40 years. I love teaching and seeing my students learn to play. I give half-hour lessons weekly at scheduled times for $20 per lesson or $30 per two persons in a family. I give a 45 minute lessons for $30.00 or a one hour lesson for $40 if I feel the student is ready for it. I give these lessons in my home studio and can usually be flexible if you need to reschedule. I am very kind and patient with my students and work with them at their pace. I do require practice at home to prepare for the next lesson. Without this practice a student will not progress. Of course, we all want to see progress - student, parents, and teacher. We have an Annual Christmas Recital in which all play two to three songs each. They all do a beautiful job. Ms. Regina is an excellent teacher! She's incredibly kind, patient, and encouraging for a young piano student. My 6 year old loves going to lessons and practices at home without prompting.

This was my granddaughter's first piano lesson. We were late for our appointment time and Regina was very understanding. My granddaughter really liked her and could understand her instruction completely. We will be scheduling another lesson after the July 4 holiday week.

Individualized, personalized instruction in a very relaxed home setting. My 3 children all love the teaching style and the calm patient teaching style used by Regina. She is flexible with scheduling yet diligent in keeping the date and time agreed upon. Hope to continue for as long as my kids want lessons and/or Regina continues to offer her service.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $15 per 30 minute lesson. $25 for 2 persons from the same immediate family for a 30 minute lesson each per week. I charge $30 per person for a 1 hour lesson.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin by getting to know something about my student. Then I try to decide where we should begin our lessons, especially if they have had lessons previously.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began taking piano lessons when I was 6 years old from a lady in our community. We had a yearly recital at a local church. I continued my lessons with various teachers, depending on where we lived. I began playing for our church services at the age of 12. I took both piano and organ lessons when I attended Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, TN. I began teaching piano in 1980. I have enjoyed teaching my students since then.
