FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to "bid" cases, and stick to a quoted retainer. This isn't always possible, but in doing this I am sharing some of the "risk" with my clients.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Discovering what the goal(s) might be, and whether they are realistic. Your client must be truthful with you, and you must do likewise. Telling your client everything he or she needs in order for them to make correct choices is essential.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have severa educational degrees, but those arent the measure of a good attorney. It is a requirement of the State Bar of Georgia that every lawyer attend Continuing Legal Education seminars each year in order to remain in good standing, but a serious lawyer does A LOT of reading and studying, and does it every day.
