Hired on Thumbtack
They did not complete the job and left. They were supposed to repair and install 3 window screens. One of the window screen was broken by Joe Newman of Cherry's Construction. Patio door screen not repaired although they were paid in advance for that. Joe broke one patio light globe. Did not replaced. Furniture assembled was not perfect.I called Cherry's construction several times. Got only voice recorder response. They did not call me back. Its almost 4 weeks. I feel I am being cheated. I understand the Cherry Construction is using the Thubtack platform to contact their customer. What Thumbtack can do resolving this. I believe the Home Advisor and other web sites do take some action in situation like this. Please response, Thanks,

We are working with Mr. Dutta to solve any discrepancies that we may have. We were not paid in advance for any of our work or materials nor did we skip out on him. Our list for Mr Dutta grew every day and our expected pay stayed the same. We completed our task on time and as agreed. We can't be expected to make a press board desk that has been out in the weather for six months work like one that has come straight from the store..
We apologise to Mr Dutta and will replace the window screen and globe today.
