Introduction: I'm the one you call when "clean out the garage" has been on your to-do list for ages and you still just don't wanna. Also here for you when you need to pack for a move, downsize, re-claim a room after its served as a storage unit too long, or when you "need to go through it" but haven't found the time. As a long term traveler, and someone who's moved across the globe multiple times with a single backpack, I'm really good at knowing how to let go of stuff for the sake of making my life easier. Now I'm here to show you how to do the same! I specialize in helping you sort through the clutter to create a space that feels breathable and easy to manage. We'll haul out the junk, and leave you with a space that works like it should.

Kelsey assisted me cleaning up my "junk room". I barely could step foot in it until she explained how the process works. Kelsey shed a different light on all of it. It was easy to decide what I would want to keep for the memories. And to toss away the stuff I hadn't wore or used in years. After Kelsey left I was amazed that I had a bare room! Something I could do for myself! So after that, I have a music room which is something that I have always always wanted. And it's still without clutter thanks to Kelsey's putting a different perspective on it.

This was my first experience working with a professional clutter coach so I didnt know what to expect. We started off with a simple conversation to help her understand what I was struggling with and how she could help. And then we went straight into decluttering. I was having a difficult time letting go of clothes but after one session, Kelsey helped me get rid of 8 garbage bags full of clothes that I truly didnt need ( I still had plenty of clothes left lol ). I have been clinging onto my wardrobe in the worst way and she some how helped me let some of it go after just a few minutes of us working together. I am genuinely thankful that I was able to work with her and I would highly recommend that more people utilize her skills and talents. Kelsey taught someone as stubborn as myself how to let go, so I am confident that she can help anyone who is also struggling with holding onto things.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Each new project will start with a free 30 minute Zoom consultation. We'll talk about things like your goals for the project, systems that do and don't work well for you, what types of things you need from the space and what things absolutely must/must not go. Next, we'll decide on a day to begin the project. You can be as involved in this work as you like, either working alongside me or leaving me to it! Ideally, you'll be there to help me go through things in the beginning because although I love what I do, I don't know what works well for YOU. Only you know that. I'll need you guidance at least as we get started to know what types of things you're ready to let go of or not. At the end of the project, I'll haul away all the "useless extra" that isn't serving you and the space you're looking to reclaim.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I grew up in a very cluttered household- literal piles of clothes and a garage you could barely walk through. That kind of thing. I turned all that on its head though in 2017 when I moved to Thailand with one single backpack. Then later to the US, and then to South Korea, again all with that one single backpack. While in Asia, I lived in very very tiny homes by American standards. So all this to say, I got REALLY good at letting go of "things" for the sake of making my life easier. I bring those same thought processes and insights into my work here in the US now! I'm not just here to move all your things around into pretty storage bins, I'm here to give you LESS to move around and maintain.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I began as a mindset coach, guiding people through how to live a simpler life. I found that many people were most interested in the clutter and "stuff" aspect of this! So I began focusing solely on this because I knew I could make a meaningful impact showing people how to reclaim their space through decluttering and simple organizing! I love empowering people to let go of things that aren't adding any value to their life, and that's the principle I bring into every project.
