FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Each new project will start with a free 30 minute Zoom consultation. We'll talk about things like your goals for the project, systems that do and don't work well for you, what types of things you need from the space and what things absolutely must/must not go. Next, we'll decide on a day to begin the project. You can be as involved in this work as you like, either working alongside me or leaving me to it! Ideally, you'll be there to help me go through things in the beginning because although I love what I do, I don't know what works well for YOU. Only you know that. I'll need you guidance at least as we get started to know what types of things you're ready to let go of or not. At the end of the project, I'll haul away all the "useless extra" that isn't serving you and the space you're looking to reclaim.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up in a very cluttered household- literal piles of clothes and a garage you could barely walk through. That kind of thing. I turned all that on its head though in 2017 when I moved to Thailand with one single backpack. Then later to the US, and then to South Korea, again all with that one single backpack. While in Asia, I lived in very very tiny homes by American standards. So all this to say, I got REALLY good at letting go of "things" for the sake of making my life easier. I bring those same thought processes and insights into my work here in the US now! I'm not just here to move all your things around into pretty storage bins, I'm here to give you LESS to move around and maintain.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began as a mindset coach, guiding people through how to live a simpler life. I found that many people were most interested in the clutter and "stuff" aspect of this! So I began focusing solely on this because I knew I could make a meaningful impact showing people how to reclaim their space through decluttering and simple organizing! I love empowering people to let go of things that aren't adding any value to their life, and that's the principle I bring into every project.
