I am ordained Baptist minister with cross cultural experience and have a diverse life experience that includes working with families, children, youth and women in a variety of settings. REV. KATRINA is a sweet, warm, and loving person. She came to my home one evening, after a long day and met with me and my fiancé. She brought along vow samples and discussed alot of important details with us. She was very attentive, Listen as I babbled on all evening. She sat for about 2 hours and assured that she would make our special day incredible! I can't wait to start our premarital counseling sessions next month thanks so much for 100% communication Katrina. You're the best!

Rev. Katrina Salter-Wood and I were college buddies from Tift College. Katrina is a caring individual and has great compassion for people including myself who is hearing impaired. She mentors individuals and helps them meet their potential to the fullness. I have worked alongside her in ministries very well and have witness many lives touched by her compassion over the years and continue to do so. In July of 2013, family and friends gathered for a beach wedding. Rev. Katrina had the privilege of marrying my nephew, Brian to Shelley along with two of their awesome children, Colby (5) and Kendyl (5 mo.), who was also included into the family commitment ceremony at Tybee Island. I thought was very valuable and thoughtful that the children had a place in the wedding. Colby loved it and thought it was cool. The couple was counseled by Rev. Karina throughout the year as they prepared the wedding which was a great success. Brian and Shelley would not have had it any other way, they appreciated everything Katrina has done for them. The wedding ceremony on the beach was very inviting and I would have wanted the same thing for myself. Rev. Katrina has exceptionally outstanding wisdom and ability to relate to others and has helped individuals with her leadership and counseling abilities. She has ability to make everyone feel important. I value our friendship today and years to come.

Alisa, What are beautiful beach wedding! I so enjoyed the opportunity of being able to be with you and your family as they celebrated their vows. And the children were awesome! Since the wedding, I can't believe how much they have grown and talking on the phone to the "baby" just blows my mind. . .lol. She has certainly grown a lot and so has her brother. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices vary depending upon the service provided and distance traveled. I enjoy serving as an officiant and like meeting others- - -so if I am available and have the time to assist you, I will try my best to accommodate you and your family - - I am available to travel across the Southeastern U.S. I enjoy doing weddings throughout the Carolinas, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, Virginia, and if you would like me to come further, please just ask. . .
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've continued to seek further training in the area of Coaching and also seek further educational opportunities in the areas of writing as well as Spiritual Formation from a variety of resources. And I am always researching weddings, venues, and vows to keep current and to grow in the knowledge of what current. Always, I am searching for poems, reading, songs, and scriptures that may speak to the occasion and that appear to be relative for the couple or family that I am working alongside.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
It is rather a long story. I was in college. God had one idea. I had another idea. Let's just say - - God is much wiser than I am and has a very good sense of humor. And by the way, God is still laughing!
