- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?During the initial appointment, the client will bring in completed paperwork or complete it in office. There will be interview process that goes over all forms completed, the practice policies, HIPPA compliance, and treatment contract. This is a time for the client and counselor to get to know each other and for the counselor to make sure that they can provide the service you are looking for or for a referral to be made. Once the treatment agreement is signed, the therapist will ask about reasons for seeking treatment and begin an assess on goals and a treatment plan.
