Williams House of Music, LLC, provides private and group instrumental training for youth and adults. Woodwind instruments are taught from beginner to intermediate with the flute being the primary instrument to the advanced level. An assessment is given to all students to gain knowledge on how to assist the student to advance in his/her music endeavors. Assignments are given to the student as a strategy to help strengthen the students' knowledge and understanding by using method books, sight reading material, scales and arpeggios, long tone exercises, and technique to enable the student to play with ease at a slow, medium or fast tempo.
Williams House of Music assist band directors to prepare band for Large Group Performance Evaluation (LGPE) also encourages and assist the serious musician to prepare music to audition for All-State Band and Honor's Band competition. and Solo & Ensemble competitions.
I enjoy sharing my experiences as a musician and simplifying areas in music that is complicated for the student to grasp. Its with great pleasure to communicate with student(s) and parent(s) to ensure we reach goals that are set. I enjoy making lessons fun and easy to learn; moreover, I enjoy watching the students' understanding of the lesson come forth; its like watching a light bulb go from dim to bright!

Natalie Williams is a phenomenal teacher. We began with flutelessons and after a few lessons she quickly discovered that the flute may not be the best instrument for her, and we should consider the piano. My daughter was not too thrilled about, however she learned the keyboard so fast she knew it was a good fit. Now she doesnt want to put it down! I highly recommend her. Her patience, punctuality, and style of teaching is one of a kind!

She is absolutely amazing. My 10 year old tried another teacher and quickly became disinterested but not at all the case with Ms. Williams. She outlines lessons for when we aren't able to do our weekly sessions and what to do over the holidays. She even made the time and effort to attend his band performance. We couldn't be more satisfied!!!???

Ms. Williams is awesome she helps me achieve my goals and gently eases in theory & that helps me learn faster-as a beginning Senior understanding music is almost as good as playing. I tried others and she is the best!

Typical process for working with a new customer is to do an assessment of the students' knowledge and skills. Create a notebook that will strengthen skills that are weak. Provide a practice schedule and material on what and how to practice. Communicate with student, parent/guardian on when assignments are to be prepared,
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor's of Science degree - Flute performance/pedagogy.
Music Certification (1 Semester left to complete) - Secondary instruments...woodwind, brass and strings.
