Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: The Stump Man only specializes in Stump Grinding. We do not cut trees or grass. We do not haul debris or lay sod. However, we do contract for 11 different Tree Service Companies and can recommend a good one if you like. Be careful when hiring any company that will be using dangerous equipment on your property. Always check their Insurance Policy and Business License. The Stump Man carries $1 Million Liability Insurance for your protection. You do not want a "Dabbler" or an uninsured "Copycat" company (some try to ride on our good name) grinding your stumps. You may get a teenager with a rental machine tearing-up your property. You want a BBB Accredited Skilled Professional that only does One Thing- STUMPS! I like meeting people. I enjoy hearing what they plan to do with the area after I grind the stumps. Since most of our work comes from referrals, I especially love it when a new customer tells me that we were recommended by a previous customer.

Outstanding Service and Quality Tim, The Stump Man, did an outstanding job of grinding a 58" stump. He was prompt in following up and completing the work. The work was done perfectly, just as he described. Overall, working with Tim was a great experience and I couldn't be happier with the work done. Give him a call if you need a stump removed.

I had a landscape project which was getting delayed because I cannot find anyone to remove the stumps in the backyard. I called a dozen so called professionals and they either never showed up or asked for 3-4 weeks time. Fortunately I found Stump Man Tim. His wife answered the phone and what a difference I could feel from the get go. Tim agreed to do the job in 3 days and he was there on time. His attitude and helping mentality is commendable and I found that there are people who can help and react to one's needs instead of just extracting money from customers. Really appreciate the work and wish him all success.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We charge $2 Per Inch to grind your stump. You can get a very close estimate of the cost by measuring your stumps with a tape measure or yard stick. Do not measure where the chainsaw cut the tree. Measure where we start grinding on one side to where we stop grinding on the other side. If the stump is oval, measure the longest length. If there are roots that you want to remove, start at the farthest root out on one side to the farthest root out on the other side. Stumps flare. Where the chainsaw cut the tree might be 20" but at ground level the stump can be 30". 30" X $2= $60. We do have a minimum fee of $100 in Gwinnett and $125 outside Gwinnett. The Minimum Fee covers up to 60" of stumps.
