I submitted a request on Monday night and Felipe called me first thing Tuesday morning. He was professional and prompt with same day service. He was able to assess my issue and gave me a reasonable quote to fix immediately. His work is great quality and he even took the time to clean up before leaving. I would hire him again for future projects.
Felipe Barrera of CDJ Professional Services did an outstanding job repairing what felt like a major emergency in my home.
I was working in the attic removing insulation and sealing top plates for air-sealing issues when I accidentally stepped on the edge of a drywall board and watched my ceiling cave in. I could literally look down into my hallway and hall closet, with insulation all over my clothes. It was exhausting and overwhelming, and I needed help immediately.
Felipe was at my house the very next morning to assess the damage. He was calm, professional, and reassuring from the start, letting me know he could get it fixed quickly and correctly. He quoted me a fair price and explained that the price reflected the quality of the work—and he was absolutely right.
He repaired both the ceiling and the closet drywall seamlessly, handling all the cracks, mudding, sanding, and finishing so well that it looked like the damage had never happened. Since the damaged area was also where my old whole-house fan was located—something I had been meaning to remove anyway—he was also very accommodating and took care of removing that as part of the project, which saved me from having to source that out separately later.
When I later inspected the attic, I was especially impressed to see that he had carefully installed solid 2x4 wooden supports across the ceiling joists and secured everything with screws for a much stronger, longer-lasting repair.
My home was built in 1967, and I had not realized the original drywall had been installed with nails that can loosen and pop over time. Felipe explained all of this clearly and walked me through exactly how he planned to make the repair stronger and more permanent.
He worked incredibly fast—having the main repair done within about three hours—and came back the next day after the mud dried to finish sanding, cleanup, and even cleaned leftover drywall compound from the sinks.
I was extremely pleased with the quality of his work and so grateful that he was able to accommodate me so quickly during what truly felt like an emergency. He is trustworthy, hardworking, reliable, and a true craftsman. A++ work. I would absolutely hire him again without hesitation.

Felipe helped me out big time!! He was super responsive the very next morning when I put my request in late the night before. He came out and gave me a very reasonable price for what I wanted and then on top of that he even did things around the house that he just saw needing fixing without me asking! As a single Mama this meant so very much to me! He took so much stress off of me with my youngest daughter’s graduation party coming up this week! He is a God send no doubt!! He’s amazing!! I’m definitely keeping his number because he’s so reliable and trustworthy with his work! Thank you so much Felipe!!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When it comes to pricing, I will always try to give you the best, most fair estimate. This is why I always want to look at what you need done first before giving you a price. I love the job I do so to me its more about giving you what you ask for than taking your money.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I believe that being open and honest with customers is the best way to go. I try to get to know my customers so I can view my project in a way that they would want it to be done. I also like having communication with my customers because it's important to me. My top priority is customer satisfaction. A happy customer is always my final goal.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked for Georgia Unlimited Builders for a year, now and then I work for Toro Remodeling Services, and I worked 6 years for Franjov Best Drywall.
