- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Each full portrait package comes standard with 10 digital images and print release. Those ten images are able to be chosen from your personal online gallery delivered within 2 weeks of your sessions date. Also clients are given one free 11x14 print with each portrait session. Majority of portrait sessions are $175, but there are some which require additional charges to be added depending upon travel etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Full payment is due at time of booking in order to reserve. Clients will inquire and if date is available session will be invoiced and scheduled upon payment. A contract will also be sent to the client which needs to be signed and returned within 24 hours of its arrival. On the day of the session clients are asked to arrive 15 minutes early to prepare and sign any waivers as needed. Clients are asked to not bring any image capturing device including cell phones to any session and must make sure that anyone attending along with abides by these same sets of rules. Should photographer ask you to put your device away, the session will end at that time, as this was agreed upon within your contract of terms. Following session please allow a max of two weeks for your images to be delivered within a personal online gallery. Images will be watermarked before your final choices have been made. After images have been chosen Nicki will then begin the final edits and then deliver two copies of each image within the gallery. One copy is not watermarked for personal print use only and the other is watermarked for web to use on social media. Photographer still retains all rights to images and clients agree to not crop etc the watermarked version for online use as this prevents other photographers from stealing images which they have not captured.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I attended Gwinnett Technical college for Commercial Photography Degree, have worked with a fine art wedding photographer since age 16, and have later been Asst. manager at Picture People, Lead Photographer, Sales, Orders, etc with Tanner Family Portraits and finally gained enough confidence to go solo with Nicki Rutledge Photography L.L.C. this making my 3rd year solo.
