If I could give Tk Wood higher than 5 stars I would. Not only did they do a wonderful job refinishing my wood floors but they were a pleasure to do business with. I have had the same floors done in the past and it was a mess. Tk claimed to be dust free and I was shocked how CLEANLY they did the job. There was virtually nothing to clean up when they left. If dust and inconvenience are stoping you from refinishing your floors, call Tk woods for a truely dust free job . Ty also was extremely knowledgeable about not only the finishes but also the wood I had and the shape it was in. He guided me to the proper finishes. Punctual, professional and competitively priced. One of the best contractors I've ever worked with. Quality, honest, fair, flexible, helpful, neat, experienced, passionate, thoughtful, knowledgeable; these are just a few words to describe Ty and my experience. My job was unique in that he only did repairs, filler, and sanding. I am applying the finish/stain myself which is Rubio Monocoat (very diy friendly and environmentally friendly). His price for the standard 1 coat of stain and 3 coats of poly was the most competitive. Even if I had him apply the Rubio it was still the most competitive. (Rubio has a higher material cost and has not really caught on here in the south, so for a company to use it, it just cost more.) I originally wanted to do the job myself but ran into a time crunch. So when he offered just to do the prep and repairs (the most time consuming for a diyer) I was able to save a significant amount of money. Basically getting Rubio for the cost of a standard stain and poly job. You will regret not having him come out to give you a free estimate.

Generally our prices are based on square footage. The bigger the better price. Anything less than our standard sf is mostly likely flat rate pricing.
