Introduction: This year while working the International Print Competition many mentors that have been in the business for over 20 years told me that I have a "touchy-feely" type personality. In other words I like to have a feeling of emotion come from my images so in order for that to happen I have to have a good relationship with my clients more on a personal level rather than business. I get to fall in love with the couple each and every time. Each image becomes a special moment caught in time and its like a precious surprise when your clients see them for the first time. It keeps me filled with hope that one day this will too happen for me.

Ms. Rutledge was prompt, courteous, extremely professional during the entire session. She went out of her way to ensure everyone in the family was perfectly positioned, etc. She was meticulous in her craft taking her time to ensure the perfect shot was achieved, never makingus feel rushed. She remained poised even while working with a one year old who was in great need of a nap, and agentleman who was being less than gentle at the time, as he too was in great need of a nap! I would highly recommend Ms. Rutledge for anyone needing family portraits or for any special occasion. You will not be sorry! We shall be booking Nicki again, soon, as the grandbaby is changing so much!

Nicki with Whimsical Photography is a amazing photographer with true talent. She did an amazing job taken photos of my nieces first birthday. She got me back our photos in the time she said. I would highly recommend Nicki for all you photography needs!

Nicki came over to my parent's home for a Christmas photo shoot. She did an excellent job! From set up, to taking the photos and clean up. Highly recommend!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Very simple pricing packages starting with the amount of time needed to cover the event. Second asking what other type of sessions would you like to include like videography of the wedding etc
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Just graduating from Gwinnett Tech with my degree in Commercial Photography.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
In high school I worked for a local photographer in her studio for a couple years and she pushed me to get into college. At first I wasn't interested but later come to find out thats exactly what I was destined for.
