WOW, where do I begin? MusiqTruth is hands down the most professional and creative DJ I have ever worked with! I decided to have a big party for my 30th Birthday. I love to dance and enjoy a WIDE variety of artists across pop, R-n-B, and Hip Hop. In addition, I greatly appreciate the “oldies” and knew I would have older family members in the crowd who wanted to enjoy old-school music as well. In short, I am incredibly picky and admittedly demanding regarding my music mixes. MusiqTruth took on this challenge head-on!
First, contacting her is super easy through the website and email. Second, she took time to listen to everything I wanted. She asked what my vision was. She didn’t lead with everything she could do or her music catalog. She even allowed me to send a YouTube playlist of songs I enjoyed so she could better understand my musical tastes. I have NEVER had this kind of white glove service from any other DJ. Most DJs ask about the genre and want you to leave them to work. Not MusiqTruth! She understood what this event meant to me and tried to get it right! If you want background music, book any other DJ, but if you want a curated vibe list, book MusiqTruth!
Finally, on the day of the event, MusiqTruth is a one-woman show. She came with all her equipment (quality new equipment, not beat-up speakers and mics). She came prepared to unload and load by herself. I wouldn’t allow it, but I know she can handle herself! When it came to the party, she stuck to our curated list and, with my permission, even worked in a few requests. She didn’t ask for ANYTHING during her working hours. So many DJs come with the expectation they are entitled to drinks or food. Again, NOT MusiqTruth! She came to get the job done, and I made her take a plate because that is what we do down south.
If you want a PROFESSIONAL DJ with book knowledge to match cultural knowledge and vibes, hire MusiqTruth ASAP!
PS: Don’t tell her I told you, but she has a VOICE!! Please do yourself a favor and ask about booking her to sing, too! It’s the perfect add-on for that person to touch on someone’s special day!
