Introduction: I am working with 12 years of certified experience in the state of Georgia. Massage is my passion. God built me for this profession. I see myself in this field for the remainder of my life. If not as a practicing therapist, as a teacher in this field. There is very little in my life that is better than that of healing a patient from an ailment that has been their issue for months, even years. I can say that very few therapist actually care and empathize with your pain. I do not treat you as a number nor as an assembly line of patients trying to get to the next one nor do I treat you equal to the money you spend. You are more to me than a dollar sign.

Tara provides a wonderful relaxing massage. I have fibromyalgia and many tender spots and she is very careful and gentle. I have been seeing Tara for several years. Soft massage to deep tissue massage, Tara is the best!

I was tied up in knots today when I went to see Tara. Now I am a relaxed spaghetti noodle. She knows exactly what spots need the most work without my even saying anything. The atmosphere is quiet with soothing music and soft light. Tara really is a great massage therapist but more importantly a great person who runs her business with love and devotion! I highly recommend her. You won't regret it!

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

We provide detailed in-office treatments. Our common types of therapy tends to deal with people experiencing low back pain, migraines, shoulder/neck/head pain, foot reflexology, carpal tunnel, tennis/golf elbow and hamstring pain. For purposes of relaxation, we do scented foot/hand/back scrubs, an aroma-therapeutic Swedish massage, or a simple hot-stone massage. For deeper issues we specialize in cranio-sacral therapy, deep tissue/sports massage, neuro-muscular therapy and myofacial release. We customize each massage according to the clients specific needs at the time of service. We usually do a combination of the aforementioned therapies to cover all details of an individuals array of needs.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

First of all, before hiring a therapist you should check to see if the provider is licensed by the state in which they practice. Secondly, ask if they are insured. This step is essential to see how committed the therapist is towards the profession. Most of the time we will be insured by the AMTA but not always. Next, ask how long the therapist has been practicing. This allows you to know if the therapist has had enough time to experience the array of client issues and has a baseline knowledge of the variables that are present in individuals. Subsequently, see if the therapist has good reviews online; more specifically, good reviews by people that provide their name so, more than likely, that you know it is legit and not the actual therapist doing the review. Lastly, I would ask for a quick list of the modalities the therapist is most comfortable using. My personal recommendation for a person looking to be healed from a specific pain should seek a therapist that is certified in NeuroMuscular therapy. This is the 'medicine' of massage in my opinion. I say certified because all therapist are exposed to different styles of massage, but certified in very few; they will have a certificate if they are genuinely certified. It is important that you know the details of their background. If the criteria mentioned above is not taken seriously or brushed off by a therapist, more than likely they won't be worth your time.
