- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do provide a discount card for referrals. When you get your service done, I will give out a little ticket with your name and the date, and when you refer someone and the ticket makes its way back around to me, you receive $10 off, or a free prep facial for your next appointment. Also I’m not about to charge you extra for your event just because of the type of event it is, I don’t feel like there is a reason for that. The only time I will charge extra is if you book for more than 6 people, because in that case I would need to hire an assistant for the day OR if I have to travel over 40 miles for the appointment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a Clinique consultant for the last 1 1/2 years. It’s honestly the closest thing I could get to going back to school so far, because not only do they teach about their brand and products, they teach you about peoples skin in general and it’s really been a great learning experience.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I really have just always loved doing makeup. I feel like I am pretty artistic/ creative and faces really are just my perfect canvas.
