FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am always excited to work with new and potential clients. I understand that things link budget and what a client is looking for plays a very important role in their final decision.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If a new and potential customer comes to me, I assume that they know some of my photographic background; if not, I will gladly share information and direct them to my website. This is not too often, but it does happen from time to time. Once we have determined that the work I produce is acceptable for their photographic needs, I work hard to see if what they are looking for can be produced within the budget they set forth. If not, I do my best to illustrate how I have come to the pricing I have come to. As a photo buyer, it is very important to understand that as a photographer, we have many hats to wear and the culmination of our pricing reflects the immense amount of time we put in to perfecting our craft, purchasing and maintaining our gear, paying for insurance, keeping our websites paid and updated, understanding how to edit your images properly and efficiently and delivering the final produce to our clients within a timely fashion. A great percentage of that time is unpaid and is calculated into the pricing structure we, as photographers, charge. If you receive an estimate too good to be true, I can almost guarantee you that it is. Making a living as a photographer is not easy, and I have been lucky enough to do it for 20 years, since graduating from the University of Georgia.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a BFA in graphic design from the University of Georgia
