- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do require a 50% deposit of the full total up front to secure your order.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Coordinating a time to speak over the phone to make sure I am understanding what the customer wants and needs. Providing ideas and flavors that Unique Rik’s Kitchen can produce. Explaining delivery/drop off procedures and deposits. Sending over the invoice via email and get to working to serve memorable flavors!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been cooking since I was a child. My mom also has a degree in culinary, so she was big on being in the kitchen! I’ve always only cooked for people I know, but then COVID happened and I just had a baby and needed some form of outlet and of course, an income. One night while my husband and I were eating dinner, he said to me “I know people will buy your food, you need to create a business.” And I did just that 🙂
