- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer Military and Senior Citizens Discounts for one pet not multiple pets. Please mention during our texting/emailing back and forth which discount you would be applying for. thank you. Now for my prices I try to stay competitive with the other trainers and prices tend to change from month to month when I check. 1.) I teach private one on one in home training by appointments so if you wanted to train ( your first training session on a Monday at 1:00 PM, then I would block out for the next 5 Mondays at 1:00 PM this way we are not jumping all over the calendar to see what days work with and what doesn't.) If a sudden appointment or emergency came up we wok around it. 2.) Puppy Training class: 1 day per week for 4 weeks, 60-90 minutes per day. $250.00 3.) The following classes are 1 day per week for 6 weeks, 60-90 minutes per day! a.) Basic Obedience Training: 1 dog-$325.00 2 dogs- $550.00 (Discount) b.) Advance Obedience Training: 1 dog $350.00 2 dogs- $625.00 (Discount) 4.) Behavioral Modification Training in the Following Areas: The cost for this class to correct any of the following runs (1). 2 days per week, for 8 weeks, 90 minutes per day. $525.0 (2). the price of this course covers 1-2 incidents which run together. example b & k would be 2 incidents/actions/destructions you could see that run together, and would be covered in the $525.00 a) aggressiveness b.) separation anxiety c.) excessive digging d.) Jumping on owner/guest/friends e.) excessive barking f.) bolting g.) excessive leash pulling h.) caprophagia (eating stool) I.) humping/mounting j,)biting during feeding time k.)interior house destruction
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first set a appointment with the client and thier pet so I may observe the pet in your home environment at NO COST to the CLIENT. After al that's where they get into most of the trouble. Then I will explain what type of training is needed to rehabilitate their behavior. I will ask if this is the training they are looking for, we then review the price and if the type of training is acceptable I will collect the payment for the course and then see what days and times are available for you, your pet and my appointment book.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my training through the Animal College (ABC). ABC Certified Dog Trainer: Basic 1 year self-paced course with 12 Stages before you graduate from the school. I've continued to stay up on changes by taking continuing education courses. We are given up to six months to finish the glass before taking any more continuing education glasses. So far I've completed the following classes. Pet Sitting and Dog Walking: 6-month continuing education The Art of Selling and Teaching Private Lessons: 6 Month continuing education Currently signed up for: Working Rescue and Shelter Dogs continuing education I have experience for over 15 years of raising and training my own German Shepherds, Husky's, Shi Zu, Poodles, I've worked training Ridge Backs Pitt Bulls I trained my German Shepherd to be certified as drug search dog for the department I worked with and had her certified at school located around the area of Dublin Georgia. I would take any opportunity to train with the Sheriffs Department and Police Departments I was employed with.
