Hello, My name is Caitlin. I am the owner and head trainer at Life Dog Training LLC.
I originally began Life Dog Training because I desired to help people enjoy their pets as a part of their everyday lives. I am very passionate about socializing dogs beginning as puppies and continuing throughout their lives, so that our beloved pets are able to participate in our activities and our adventures with us.
I desire for our pets to be a joy rather than a frustration. To help accomplish this, I designed our sessions to be tailored to meet the needs of each client and their dog at the location where the training is needed, at home and in the community.
I am passionate about off leash reliability as well, and thoroughly enjoy working with clients to achieve that goal with their pets.
I highly value our customers; I got into this business because I love working with both people and dogs, and helping people accomplish their goals with their pets.

Lifedog Training is really incredible. We are so thankful for Caitlen's time and attention. She works hard to listen and help you find practical solutions to the training help you need. We called her a year ago with a 5 month old puppy. We had been dedicated in training him through videos on youtube, etc., but we hit some dead ends with certain behaviors that needed addressing asap. It got too overwhelming to continue to sort through online dogtraining advice. We spoke to several dogtrainers who gave conflicting and extreme advice that was also overwhelming. I am so thankful that a friend referred us to Caitlen. She helped us sort things out simply and effectively. She have us weekly suggestions that helped us (2 parents and 4 kids) with our dog right away. We started off every week and now we are using her on an as needed basis with our now 17 month old dog. We are so thankful for everything Caitlen has done to help our family enjoy our dog more and more. She has also helped our dog learn to enjoy life more, as well! The safe boundaries we are teaching him keep him from being over stimulated by other dogs, animals and people. As a result, he is able to increasingly enjoy his family, other people and other pets more and more.

Caitlin is an excellent dogtrainer. She is extremely knowledgeable about dogs and also very intuitive about each situation and what is needed. I thought she had a very balanced view of training. Does a great job helping owners know what is the best thing for their dogs and how to work with them. I would totally recommend her. Worth every penny that is spent your help, your dog be a happy part of your family.

Caitlin is a dog whisper. Autumn has done well after just over an hour with Caitlin. No more jumping on people, isnt charging the door and is no longer afraid to get in the car. Great training!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
One time Private Sessions are $125 per one hour session. Multiple Private Sessions are $100 per session. The trainer will come to your home or an agreed upon public location for training sessions. Distances outside of the training region (20 minute drive time), will be an additional $10 per every 5 minutes over the initial 20 minutes commute. locations over 30 minutes away are double to triple session price, depending on distance.
One hour Virtual/Remote Training Sessions are $75 per hour each.
Day Training Packages vary depending on current level of training and course length. See ******* for more details and exact pricing.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our goal is to tailor the training to each client's needs. Past history, goals, current behaviors, and any other relevant information will be discussed over the phone prior to beginning. Together we will come up with agreed upon commands to be taught and behaviors to be addressed. Each session will build upon previous sessions, the rate of progression depending on the client's at home practice time and the dog's progress with homework. Training will end when the client is satisfied with the level of training they have achieved to meet their goals. Sessions will be on a week by week basis unless the client chooses to prepay for a session package.
