Introduction: I am the photography professor at Middle Georgia State University and the Artist-in-Residence at the Tubman Museum in Macon. GA. I also was a staff photographer at the AJC for over 28 years, and I have a Masters Degree in Photography from Ohio University. Students learn more in one of my lessons than in some two-week lessons. I have taught photography at Clark Atlanta University and the University of Georgia. I have a passion for teaching photography and I enjoy helping students reach their potential.

Johnny Crawford has years of experience with professional photography but can bring his patient, helpful instruction easily down to the level of a beginner. He teaches in a clear, approachable way. The class was on time, in a good setting, and very enjoyable. I would take a class from him again and highly recommend him to others.
