Patrick made the entire process a dream. He arrived on time and was very easy to work with when it came to trying to capture the correct shots for our video. Then after the shoot and during the editing process, Patrick was extremely accommodating to whatever tweaks we requested. I highly recommend Patrick for any and all of your video needs!!

Patrick,was a total professional, easily accessible for my wishes and input in creation of the video. The videographer from Edge of the Frame
was excellent. On accepting his offer for
my event, he made an appointment with me one day in advance to ensure that everything we agreed on would be done as smoothly as possible. I appreciated that. At the event he was well prepared, and produced a professional videotape of 3 math lectures.
Some editing of the tape afterward was also
very well done. An outstanding job!

I have a PhD in film, have taught at two universities and chaired a Communication Department. As such, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a myriad of talented filmmakers and videographers. Patrick Thomas is one of them. Currently, I chair a nonprofit and looked for a videographer for a fundraising project. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We typically charge $700 for 0-4 hours of shooting. This includes a videographer, HD camera, wireless lavaliere microphone and a light kit. Editing is $150 an hour. The price is then adjusted depending your project needs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We talk with new customers to understand their project and the vision. If time permits I go and scout the location ahead of time to get a better understanding at no charge to the client. I give the client my feedback and suggestions. Then I listen and execute whatever the client wants.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
About the owner; He started his training in Michigan as a videographer for a local ABC news station.
He received my BA in Radio TV and Film and MFA in Film from Howard University.
He's been shooting and filmmaking for the past 10+ years
