Experience matters! We are a firm of criminal defense attorneys with decades of experience offering competitive rates and affordable payment plans for clients in the metro-Atlanta area.
Most of our clients have little or no criminal history and are new to the criminal justice system. They have many questions about how long their case will take, possible defenses, and likely outcomes. We keep our clients informed as their case progresses through the court system.
We accept pending criminal cases that started with an arrest within the last 12 months. We do not handle appeals, expungements, juvenile cases, any civil cases, or criminal cases that have been open longer than a year. We are not the public defender, nor do we take cases “pro bono.”
If cost is a concern, the sooner after arrest a client hires us, the better payment plan they qualify for. Most clients are on payment plans of 9-18 months, with installments similar to a car payment, and sometimes less.

Mr. Steakley has been practicing law for over 25 years, including four as a Gwinnett County Assistant District Attorney. He has handled thousands of criminal cases, and we are confident he can provide you with not only the valuable legal advice you seek, but also the aggressive defense you'll need. If you decide to hire us after your free consultation, but can't afford to pay legal fees immediately, we offer an installment program that allows clients to afford legal representation for as little as $199/month. Payments are made automatically and electronically once per month, on the day you choose.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Contact us if you have any questions before your consultation. You can also contact our Supervising Paralegal, Rosie Steakley. We typically meet with clients by Zoom at a time convenient for them.
