  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Hiring a lawyer takes a little work. Meet with three lawyers. If a lawyer charges a consultation fee, is slow to call you back or difficult to reach, then move on. If you can, ask court personnel which lawyer is most effective. Hire a lawyer with lots experience in that particular area of the law because it takes time to really perfect your craft and become highly effective. Ask the lawyer how many jury trials they have had in the last year: a criminal defense lawyer who does not regularly try cases is not respected by prosecutors (a real criminal defense lawyer has between 2 and 10 trials every year).
