Introduction: Originally from the UK, I traveled and studied music in Brisbane, Australia, where I gained a Diploma in Contemporary Music in 2000. Since then I have toured internationally, supported major acts such as Kid Rock, Ben Harper, Bastille, Ludacris, Cypress Hill and The Roots to name but a few, recorded albums, guested with numerous bands such as members of Portishead, Massive Attack, Robert Plant's Band of Joy and The Black Keys and composed music scores for two feature films and various shorts along with directing my own music video and having my music featured in various movies and TV shows. I also have booked acts across the US and organized music festivals in Los Angeles. I have vast skills from performance to management, booking, PR and placements in film and television. Whether you are looking to just begin learning an instrument for fun or would like to take your skills further and move towards becoming a professional musician, I have the skills and expertise to help you along every step of the way. I've been taking singing lessons on Skype with Sasha for about 7 months on a weekly basis. I had no prior singing experience before starting with her. Lessons can be stressful when you're doing things you're not familiar with. Sasha understands this well and adapts to your needs at the right pace. She identifies areas for improvement and provides exercises to practice during the week that focus on these. Each lesson involves working on a song of your choosing. People have told me my singing voice is much better (control, tone, accuracy, clarity) and my speaking voice is improved as well! I enjoy my lessons and know my money is well spent. I highly recommend her for lessons.

Sasha is an excellent and patient guitar teacher whom has taught me as a novice guitarist over the last 9 months or so. She provides challenging take home instructional material to practice and provided the content of the lessons in my personal music genre. I recommend highly for any age! She is also a great performer!

Sasha is a well rounded musician and can teach several instruments. She has a unique way with children and has done a great job with my 12 year old son on keyboard. She keeps him interested even when he starts to feel like it is becoming "work".

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I can do either 30 minute 45 minute or one hour lessons either weekly or as little as every few weeks if you prefer. My rate depends on whether I travel out or teach from home. If a student wishes to buy a package of lessons the prices can be worked out cheaper.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will first discuss what they are looking to achieve through their lessons, musical interests, goals etc then I will tailor the lesson to suit their needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a diploma in contemporary music and have toured extensively across the USA, Europe and Australia and have worked in many different recording studios both as an artist and a session performer. I have scored 3 independent films and had my music featured on numerous tv shows and feature films.
