Hey we all can't be Young, Beautiful and Talented so if Experienced, Mature and Entertaining is more to your liking, I may just be your guy! I play a VARIETY of music genres to include Motown, Country, R&B, Rock and Pop. Classics to Current! Artists like Ed Sheeran, Chris Stapleton, The Temptations, Jimmy Buffett, Marvin Gaye, and many more.
My equipment provides me with a very big sound and is a great alternative to hiring a full band. I handle all the vocals and guitar work while my systems provide the harmonies and additional instrumentation. I love performing live to a great audience. Most people love the music I play and it is really fun to see them react to the music.

JP was a huge hit at my dad’s retirement party. He played all the hits and was very professional, responsive, and was an excellent singer. Would definitely recommend booking for your party!

JB was great! He played a variety of music across multiple genres. The guests enjoyed interacting with JB and remarked on how great the music was. The only concern was the volume. The clubhouse where he was performing was a bit small so the sound was a bit too loud for conversing with guests. If you have a small space just keep that in mind. We will definitely hire him again for future events!

JP Garmon was great. He did everything that he said he was gonna do. Was there all set up waiting on us when we arrived. Great attitude, fun to deal with and made everybody feel comfortable took requests and really put on some great entertainment for our wedding. I was very lucky to come across him and find him on thumbtack. We went out to YouTube and saw all his different genres of music and he was very entertaining and that’s also one reason why we went with him over two or three other options and it turned out to be a great decision. I would most definitely recommend JP and will hire him to do my next event as well.

I was hosting a special birthday celebration for my wife, and I wanted to make the occasion especially fun, I decided to try to find some special entertainment. As this was a “mature” party, I wanted to look for a professional singer who played a mix of songs my wife liked. I asked for referrals/recommendation from others, but none of them actually played songs I thought my wife (and her friends) would enjoy, so I began researching on my own, and eventually got to JP, and was able to review his background, see the types of songs he would play, and listen to some of his music.
I became evident I found an entertainer I thought would be perfect for the party, and after confirming the date and time, hired JP, and let me tell you that he was the hit (no pun intended) of the evening. The music mix was perfect, and well played; everyone commented on how great the music was.
The best endorsement of JP is that not only would I hire him again if I was to need a musician, my friends and other family in attendance would hire him, too.

JP was amazing!! If you are looking for a professional, talented and affordable performer in Atlanta this is your guy! I booked him for a UGA tailgate party at my house for the UGA / Bama game earlier this month. JP responded to my inquiry immediately and listened to what I envisioned for my tailgate. He and his brother were a huge hit and played a variety of songs. They even dressed up in UGA shirts to fit in with the party. 10/10 recommend!!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically work with customers who have a budget of $600-$1000 for a Solo Musician. Several factors come into play that can result in the variance. I will be happy to discuss those with any interested client. For instance if you are an Venue manager that hires musicians on a recurring basis it may be possible for me to work with a lower budget. Please contact me directly to discuss.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I encourage the customer to check out my online profile and reviews. Once they are satisfied that I am a good fit I require a small deposit to hold the date. The balance would then be due the date of the event. If the customer has specific tunes they would like to hear I will work to add those to the lineup given enough time to make them sound good. I will go the extra mile to see that they are happy with my services.

I have over 40 years experience, playing, writing, and singing music. It is my passion.
