FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After spending well over a decade in Commercial Construction and Maintenance, I felt the repetitive routine dragging me down. Long days and nights. Sometimes filled with little to no personal interaction with anyone. Cold, empty structures. Poorly lit and filled with individuals performing sometimes very dangerous operations. Constant high volume noise. I had just had enough. I enjoy interacting with new people, and the sense of pride that comes with completing a project just the way the customer had imagined, and seeing the satisfaction in their eyes. I took my skill set and set out to find a way to stay publicly interactive, while providing a stable income for myself and family.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with many types of customers, in all age ranges. From the wealthy to the struggling, helpful to obstinate, confident to clueless and everything in between. It does not matter what type of individual has chosen to employ my services, I will greet Tham all with the utmost respect, a smile on my face and the dedication to a job well done behind my back.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do your research. Many Pros offer a look into their project portfolio. Don't be shy. Pay attention to detail, craftsmanship, and picture timeline. A portfolio filled with only end result pictures, holds a possibility of those projects not being authentic. Anyone can snap a pic of a bench they admire, then post in under the impression of it being their creation. Follow the trail of snapshots, noting the progress of the project. This trick is extremely helpful when choosing the right contractor. You can catch some telltale signs of a contractor who will cut corners, or is just not cut out for the task at hand.
