FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My training is from the school of trial and error. I honestly learned o my own. I did take courses and classes to learn certain aspect, but those training were not part of an established degree/field of study.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started video recording my children's kindergarten graduations. And I had a great time doing this. Over the years doing elementary, JHS and HS graduations, I started to increase my knowledge of videography. Not long after that, I began to pursue videography as a business.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Already established as a musician and music producer, Harris's first clients were associates within the music business. Also from there he worked with people in the church community. Then Harris teamed up with another videographer and great director of photography in Mr. Jesse James, to formally form the partnership of (James & Harris) J&H Videos. We then continued to do work with filmakers and tv show producers. Following, we then worked with attorneys, doctors and like for their training and promotional videography needs. Our customers and their events still vary greatly from very small gatherings, music videos, documentaries, to very large events.
