FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Architects are required to provide proof of continuing education credits on a regular basis in order to keep their registrations active. Besides that, with all the changes in technology and emphasis on sustainable and green building it is imperative to keep up with and stay current with these developments.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The type of projects I work on in my practice is very varied. I have worked on small residential remodeling projects all the way up to 4 million dollar office buildings. Being a small practice gives me the flexibility to fit into the requirements of a particular project by hiring consultants (or not) as needed and providing the appropriate level of service.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Hiring an architect is not like shopping for equivalent TV's or refrigerators. Price should not be the one of the most important criteria. The quality of the end product will differ greatly depending on who you hire and you will be living with it for a long time.
