FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started doing this type of work as a hobby, as a kid, just because I loved it. It became apparent to me, as I met more people and more people saw my work, that I should make it a business. I began having people inquire about what I would charge to take photographs for them, even before I ever decided to start taking photos as a business. It took me a long time to realize that you CAN love what you do and make a business out of it. You can LOVE your "job" which makes it a passion rather than a job. When you have passion for what you do, it shows and is evident to anyone who sees what you create.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of clientele. From the mother wanting photos of their child, to the band needing promo shots and individual portraits. I've worked with high school seniors in obtaining photos that show their lives and likes and ones that will be remembered in years to come. I've worked with families who have never had portraiture before and ones who capture their family memories regularly. I have also worked with numerous models to create looks and images that show their sense of style and fashion. I love all types of photography and would love the opportunity to demonstrate my love in the form of photos for you or your family, group, band or child.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
My most recent shoot was a boudoir shoot for a girl who wanted to create a lasting album of photographs for her husband for his birthday. The shoot was only supposed to be 2 hours but we were having so much fun capturing different poses, looks and outfits that we ended up working together for 4 hours!! It was such a blast and I can't wait to have another session with her. After seeing the photos, she wanted to book another session as soon as possible. If you enjoy what you do for a living, you'll never have to work a day in your life, so I really don't work, lol, I collaborate with my clients and create a style that is all their own which they can look back on, in years to come and be proud they took the the time to create these memories for themselves as well as future generations.
