- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is for basic styles. Most homeowners do not just want basic. The other factor is your back yard. Is the line clear of trees, brush, etc. Is the line going downhill? All of these things play a factor in the cost.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is to make an appointment. Either my brother or I will come out to meet at a time most convenient for you. Usually the first thing we discuss is product type. Some homeowners know exactly what they want and some don't. We will review all the styles and product types to find a couple you want a quote on. From there we will discuss the lay out of the fence and what its primary purpose is. We then take a measurement and write up the estimate, usually on the spot.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Several decades of experience. Our parents owned one of the largest fence companies on the east coast of Florida. My brother and I grew up in it. One of us took to installing and the other sales.
