Stay away!!!!! Save yourself a lot of time, money, frustration and heartache. The owner will sell you a wonderful sales pitch and promise you the world. I contracted them out to build a red iron shop. The total duration of the job was to be two and a half to 3 weeks max. A little over 2 weeks into my build and we were about 25% complete with roughly 75% of that being totally incorrect and needed to be fixed. The third week the owner and his crew ghosted me and made a deal with two other guys that worked for another steel erector. The owner never showed back up to my property again and wouldn't pay the guys that he made a deal with to finish my building. So to keep things moving I made a deal with them to pay them directly and get everything finished. These two guys were obviously not obligated to fix anything that was incorrect or damaged nor to uphold the future warranty that Lummus sold with the building and the roof. Toward the end, we had damaged materials and things that were done incorrectly and I myself had to haggle with the manufacturer to replace all these things and then spend money on numerous materials and extra labor for the two guys doing the work. I now have a building with absolutely zero warranty or anyone to call with any problems related to it. I myself have been in the commercial construction industry for 15 years and have personally built a house, a pool and another small shop; I can honestly say I have never came close in any of those situations to the one like this. It was a 100% nightmare. Story after story and promise after promise and I literally never saw or heard from the guy again. This all was done while he supposedly closed his business down and then was confirmed that he started a new job at another steel erection company while my project was still going on.

I recently worked with Lummus Steel on an 80x100 red iron building, and they handled the entire project from start to finish with professionalism and efficiency. From the moment I requested a quote, the process was smooth. We received a competitive quote and sales contract in a timely manner, and their communication was excellent throughout. The building delivery took about 8-9 weeks, which was the only slight delay and I know they had no control over it, but as soon as it arrived, their crew immediately got to work. They also helped manage the concrete portion of the job, making everything much easier on our end. After our grading was partially completed, their team came out and finalized the grade, dug the footers, and handled all the forming. Once the inspection was passed, they poured the concrete. Even though some of the work was done by subcontractors, it all came together seamlessly and was all handled by Brock the owner, making things so much easier for myself and my family! The entire crew worked fluently to complete the project. Overall, I had a great experience with Lummus Steel and highly recommend them for any metal building or concrete work!
