I had what I thought was a fairly basic and easy plumbing job, replacing the inside guts of a toilet and Derrick was the only person who would come the same day and was priced reasonably. As it turns out it's wasn't even that complicated. Took only 5 minutes maybe. He could have lied and taken the full rate but he was honest, told it was a minor task and accepted a fraction of the full rate. Was very much appreciated.

HVAC certified. Learned carpentry from my father. I've been working with him since I was 12.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Raised into it. My father is a carpenter. I learned the trade from him.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I'm quite fond of the metal sheet storage box I made for work. It's the black one in my pictures. Took about a week because I kept having to pause my project to help out in other areas, but I am proud of how sturdy it is.
