They were very friendly on time and professional. A makeshift barn door was installed, which, I might add, was not easy. A TV was mounted on the wall, and two 72-inch ceiling fans were installed. Two shelves were also put up. Overall, my husband and I are pleased with the work that was done, and I would recommend L.A.E. Glass to others. We are also having them install drywall in our basement and paint our front door.

Dealing with Lionel has been incredibly frustrating. I am requesting a refund of the $450 deposit immediately!!! He was contracted for a window flashing job totaling $1500. In the lead-up to the scheduled work last Saturday, April 27th, he incessantly requested 30% of the deposit upfront. He assured me that a team of four workers would arrive promptly at 8 am to complete the job in a single day- see text screenshot. However, on the day of the scheduled work, Lionel was unreachable until nearly 12pm. Only one worker arrived, equipped with nothing more than a caulking gun in a grocery bag. I've included pics from the work that Randy did on Sat that took an hour to complete. Lionel nonchalantly informed me that he was returning from birthday celebrations the prior day, offering no apologies or explanations for the delay (see screenshot). When I inquired about rescheduling, he initially proposed Monday but later changed it to Tuesday. The lack of coordination within his team became apparent when one of his workers unexpectedly showed up at the property on Monday, catching my tenants off guard. This was particularly inconvenient as they work from home and needed time to prepare the workspace. Despite agreeing to meet at the job site on Tuesday, Lionel failed to show up at the agreed-upon time. After numerous attempts to reach him via calls and texts, his unreliability had reached unacceptable levels. So, I let him know about our decision to cancel the work and asked for a refund. However, he adamantly refused to issue one and said that he's already performed over $450 worth of work (see pics). The consistent delays, poor communication, and unprofessionalism displayed by Lionel and his team have been incredibly disappointing. I strongly advise against working with him for any reason. It's imperative to avoid them to save both your time and money. I am filing a claim with Thumbtack and reporting his company to the better business bureau.

Unreliable and unprofessional. The worst experience I’ve had on thumbtack. He would not arrive on time, provided timelines that he never kept, and would give excuses on why he hadn’t started the job. Didn’t have adequate people to complete the job despite saying that he did. Poor follow up and communication from him once hired and given down payment. He wouldn’t return my key to the property and I had to change the locks. Didn’t produce any work even though he was given ample opportunities to do so. Total waste of time. Wouldn’t recommend.
