Loved this crew! They painted our entire interior (2900 sq ft) - walls, ceilings, closets, trim, the whole shebang. The quality was excellent from start to finish and The communication was wonderful. Absolutely recommend for any of your painting projects.

After buying our first home, we knew it needed a pick me up. And sky painting did the trick! Their team was amazing and able to accommodate last minute changes to our interior paint choices. They were finished with our house in a short 2.5 days. Highly recommend!

We recently purchased a home in Marietta and needed a significant amount of painting and repair done. Wilmer and his team came out the same day I called and had a team out the NEXT morning! They were prompt, professional, listened to my concerns and plans, and gave us an all around wonderful experience. Looking forward to working with them again and often in the future.
Details: Home • 6 rooms • Walls • Trim • Over 14 feet • Repainting - color change • Excellent - clean and smooth • No, this is not new construction • No, I will move things out of the way myself

I literally can't say enough positive things about Wilmer and his crew, so my review will be long. They are above and beyond and I want to write a review that demonstrates what you get with these guys, because you should stop looking for a painter right here and book them. We just bought our first house but I grew up working with contractors, so I know truly how hit or miss it is. These guys are a solid hit!
Painting is aesthetic. No matter what you're painting, youre taking something from looking one way to looking another way. It can be hard to match what people envision and frankly probably pretty hard to care about exactly what a customer has dreamed up in their head. I work in a field where I have to constantly explain why customers don't actually want what they say they want. Drawing out peoples visions isnt easy.
This was a purely emotional thing for us. I wanted to have a house I was proud of looking at. I describe it's original look as "the personality of an oyster cracker" (see photo for proof, the original gc was color blind, hence green on tan). So sky painting was apt for a few reasons, partially because they are angels from heaven.
I'm going to get this a little wrong I'm sure but I'll get the gist of the idea if I get small stuff wrong. Wilmer is the owner and he has 8 crews to send out. It seems like each crew has a "head" of some sort, we had Christian.
I figured I'd be interacting most with Christian but at first it was all Wilmer! He didn't need to be as involved as he was but he was here many times looking at the house. It was a new build where the gc was... Lax. Wilmer and Christian basically sealed up the darn house and fixed a bunch of things that weren't done right. I had no idea they did that, I thought I'd have to hire other people for those problems.
My husband and I went to GT, and I worked there a bit during my undergrad so I have the exactly shade of blue memorized. I knew I wanted that color. Wilmer sent me the closest available options but nothing was really close. I asked if it was possible to create the blue and that if that was an absurd request to feel free to laugh me out of the room and tell me to pick one.
Wilmer was ON IT. He spent a TON of time making this happen for us. He came over with samples he put up for me even during the right time of day to see them properly. He had, I believe, two stores try and mix it and even found a blogger that tried to make it. The owner of the company was running all over town trying to get me the right shade of blue. Talk about above and beyond. And we got it! Our house is #003057 GT blue.
From that point on, Christian took over and started the actual physical work. That guy is the energizer bunny mixed with an acrobatic. He can get anywhere before you know he's even gone. I had to do a double take because I passed a ladder... On the second floor. I had to go out and look to see how they managed that. (Don't worry, I have my osha card, they are a very safe crew. 😂). If there is daylight, he can use it. I was working on the inside of my house and he kept me going when I got tired because I knew that I had AC and he was still kicking my butt.
And they do not waste a single minute. It was kind of an on and off unpredictable rain week, so Christian would always let me know asap if the plan for the day changed. I woke up when it was raining and thought that was a no-go on painting for the day. Apparently there was a chance of a few hours in the afternoon of time so he drove out to our area to eat lunch and see if he could get a break in the rain. 😳.
They are also just unnecessarily kind. I was piled up under moving boxes and here alone. The city was taking literal months to get us trash service. So these bags of trash just from unpacking and moving piled up on me. They took some of them to the dumpster at their office for me. I darn near cried when they left because I was alone and overwhelmed and they saw that and helped me out.
These guys care, make sure you know your options, work harder than you'd expect they could, and do a completely thorough job. Of all the house decisions I've made, this is still my favorite. We absolutely love our house and have gone from kind of embarrassed to proud of how it looks. Thank you Sky!!!!
