Introduction: Quality - plain and simple. I invest a lot of time and money in my training, equipment, props, etc. I'm not one to click the shutter button a few times, collect my money, and call it a day. A lot of effort goes into planning images that will be wall-worthy, and once the shoot is over, nearly 15 years of Photoshop experience goes into the final stage of the process. The creative aspect! I love creating beautiful things!

Jaime is an amazing photographer. She is very easy to work with and makes you feel beautiful. I loved the fact that she has an amazing hair and makeup specialist (Ms. Trina is phenomenal!!!) that was right there at the shoot and it took a lot of stress out the day. It was a one-stop-shop. Loved that I didn't have to go elsewhere to get my hair and makeup done and rush around and spend a ton of money to look good. I had several wardrobe changes, a ton of poses, even location changes and Jaime was more than happy to get the shots that I wanted. She most definitely went above and beyond anything I could have ever hoped for. She spent a ton of time editing and making sure the pictures turn out exactly the way you want them. (I needed major work on photos for touch ups and she was more than happy to fix them to perfection.) I definitely recommend her for your photography needs. She is just an amazing photographer. The shoot was amazing and I love love love my pictures. Love you Jaime!!!! Thank you again!!!!

Shine Portraiture blew me away with the quality of their work! They completely nail most basic essentials like professionalism and responsiveness, but more importantly, this is a studio who works closely with their clients and listens to understand the goals of the shoot, and works hard to achieve those results. The results for my project exceeded expectations; excellent use of light and composition, made a novice subject very comfortable in front of the camera, and hit a home run on the intended tone of the photograph. I can't recommend them highly enough!!

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Folio boxes with matted prints start at $1200. Wall prints start at $500. (A "crystal" USB stick will be provided, with hi-res images of each photo the client orders in a folio collection and/or for wall art.)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I gladly welcome the opportunity to meet face-to-face with potential clients so that we can discuss what they are looking for and how my services may meet their needs. (After the initial consultation, I am available to answer any questions my new clients might have regarding wardrobe choices, etc.) During the session, I strive to make my clients feel completely comfortable throughout the posing process, while exploring poses that will enhance their unique features. Once all photo editing is complete, I will meet with the clients to present the final images, at which time they will be able to order portrait packages &/or a la carte items.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
After well over a decade of Photoshop experience as a graphic designer, I am now actively studying under one of the portrait world's greatest contemporary photographers.
