About
I'm a saxophonist with 20 years of playing experience, 10 as a professional. I've played with national corporate bands Big Swing and The Ballroom Blasters, Big Blast and the Party Masters, and Life of The Party, played with Archie Bell (The Drells), performed for Google in Anaheim, and the College Football Hall of Fame. I have over ten years of combined classroom and private teaching experience, giving me a balanced approach to education. I have experience teaching students of ages ranging from 8-55 and have a great passion for helping high school students prepare for all state and college auditions ($$$). If a student is willing to learn, I will turn them into the musician that they're supposed to be. I'm more than happy to help you reach your music goals no matter how big or small!

Very professional and went above and beyond what was asked. The music he played for the event was amazing. He did what he said he was going to do. Will definitely hire for events.

My Son has been a part of this family for very many years and the the staff are always professional, Courteous, friendly, on time for practice and highly skilled.
The academy also challenged my son to be the best he can be and set the bar very high such that my son is always a distinguished player in music class at school and other settings. I also liked that they were community based and took part in many community recitals which helped to build confidence and public presentation skills in the kids. Great Academy. Take advantage of the rear opportunity.

Jared is a great teacher. He is skilled and plays professionally and teaches in the school system. My daughter hated her sax because her teacher at school did not have time to focus on her. Jared helped prepare her for an audition and helped build her appreciation of the instrument!

Learning under Jared has opened new avenues for my ability to improve my saxophone playing style (for multiple genres) and improvisation technique. Jared underlines the principles in music theory while still allowing time for his students to express their creativity. For beginners or experienced players looking to improve their music/saxophone knowledge I would recommend.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is pretty straight-forward. Most of my students pay monthly(4 lessons), taking advantage of the $20 discount. I want to continue to spread the love of music so I will give one FREE lesson for any referrals that sign up for lessons as well as the person that was referred.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first lesson will consist of general introduction, finding out what your skill level is, what you're working on in school (if applicable), and goal setting. Once we set goals and a focus, I will assign material that I have or use a book that you are currently working out of to give weekly assignments.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Music Media (Saxophone concentration) I've been teaching private lessons for 6 years and have been playing professionally for over 10 years.
