- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am mostly self taught with some college courses thrown in, learning through videos and books. Typically, i acquire the book or set of videos directly from the source. I have become very proficient in all areas that I provide services in by staying focused on one goal - never stop learning.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started out by building a computer in 1998 with the help of my neighbor that worked at IBM. I went from that one PC to learning how to create flash based games and websites. I moved on to computer repair and have been learning every day since. I started "System Restore PC and Web" in 1999 and we have evolved into the company we are today, "Palmetto Multimedia Group". As, we continue our evolution, we are staying focused on our mission which is to provide an unparalleled experience for our customers. We achieve this by keeping all our services in-house and constantly learning and adapting to this ever changing industry. Keeping everything we do under our management, gives us an advantage of lowered costs to you and increased product quality. In effect we oversee every aspect of the outcome. We service a local area of Columbia, South Carolina.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I think my love for technology started when I was a little boy taking things apart to figure out how they worked. As, I grew up and matured so did my passion for technology, I went from taking VCRS and lamps apart to building computers and setting up small business networks, designing websites and graphics to helping local businesses get exposure online.
