FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Customers should know that our pricing is based on the actual scope of work, materials needed, roof condition, accessibility, and making sure the job is done correctly — not cutting corners to be the cheapest bid. We believe in honest, straightforward pricing with no pressure or unnecessary upselling. If a repair will solve the issue, we’ll recommend a repair. If the roof is beyond repair, we’ll explain why and go over replacement options clearly. Our estimates are designed to include quality workmanship, proper materials, cleanup, and communication throughout the project so customers know exactly what they’re paying for. We also understand roofing can be a major investment, so we try to work with customers to find the best solution for their budget and long-term needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our typical process starts with a conversation about what issues the homeowner is seeing — leaks, storm damage, missing shingles, aging roof, or general concerns. From there, we schedule an inspection and thoroughly look over the roof to identify the real problem instead of jumping straight to replacement. After the inspection, we explain our findings, take photos if needed, and go over the best options for repair or replacement. We provide a clear estimate with no pressure and answer any questions the customer has. Once approved, we schedule the project, protect the property before work begins, complete the job efficiently, and keep the customer updated throughout the process. After completion, we do a full cleanup and final walkthrough to make sure everything is done correctly and the customer is satisfied. At Tolli’s Excavation & Construction LLC we focus on honest communication, quality workmanship, and making the process as smooth as possible from start to finish.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My experience comes primarily from hands-on field work and years working in construction, exterior repairs, and problem-solving on residential properties. A lot of roofing knowledge is learned by actually being on job sites, understanding how water moves, identifying failure points, and learning proper installation methods and repair techniques. Over the years I’ve gained experience with roof repairs, full replacements, flashing, drainage issues, decking repairs, and exterior systems while working directly with homeowners and other trades in the field. My background in excavation, grading, drainage, and exterior construction also helps because roofing is all about protecting the structure and controlling water properly.
