MowGoatz lawn service was very professional and my yard was so neat and clean . I even told him I wanted them to come every two weeks and his prices was very reasonable.

As I am coming on to Thumbtack, I had great faith in his service until today. Truly disappointed in this business owner. I connected with him via GreenPal and he had personal circumstances arise with some accidents, his truck, etc. and I could never get in touch with him to get an update on if he was still in business even after numerous texts. The communication would be sporadic at best. But as we all know life happens and I believe in giving small businesses a chance for sure. So, fast forward a year from that, I decided to give him a chance again and he agreed to come service my yard at the same price from previously on GreenPal which was $65.00 which included my yard and also the front entrance but trees separate that part from rest of my yard. He had been consistent for the 2-3 times this year, but the other times he came, the front part someone else had mowed it and one time he led me to believe that he had actually done a thorough job, yet I still honored the $65.00 price. But today he lets it slip that he had only done a quick mow over which was to my surprise for sure. Fast forward to today, he decides he wants to up my price to $95.00 out of nowhere. When they say there is no honor amongst some people, there isn't. All those times he came to mow that I was home, he never signaled, indicated he wanted to gouge $30 additional dollars either. All this time I was operating with this guy thinking he was fair and he does this. Out of nowhere and then tries to say anyone else would charge me $65.00 for the entrance part. It's unbelievable when you give someone a chance again how they just want to take advantage of you. I truly believed in him and his services and expected more, but this is truly disappointing. You aren't protected when you decide to go outside apps so that business people can get all their money without fees. But, when you do this is what you get. If you deal with him, caution and operate at your own risk. This may not be everyone's experience. It's just mine and it's truly sad to say the least. Good luck out there. Now it's August and I'm pivoting to a new company. Left hanging again by this company and guy who I gave a chance and got messed up.
