FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Interview multiple companies, ask lots of questions, and ask for resources. Many companies are now offering social media services as an ad-on to their other services and are not truly specialists. Social media moves very quickly and is changing at a rapid pace. Your social media specialist should be keeping up with the newest networks, Google's algorithms, and best practices in order to keep your company positioned as optimally as possible on the web. They should be able to explain how each platform works, what is different about the cultures of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google+ and they should give you content ideas (what will they post and how often). Social media is not a magical service, there is a rhyme and reason to every tactic that we use - if your social media specialist can explain everything to you, then they truly understand what they are doing and how to manage your brand on social networks.
