FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't have set pricing. Having just recently moved to the coastal GA region, I'm working to set up a reliable practice and as such I am more willing to be flexible on pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First thing we'll do is talk and work toward setting up good rapport along with a decent level of trust and understanding about how I work and what I'll do to meet your expectations. I believe firmly that good family photography primarily hinges on mutual trust and confidence and once that's established we can get started on capturing images that help shape memories. I'm very patient and laid-back in photographic sessions, especially when dealing with young children. My photographic approach is to allow the subject to acclimate to my presence, forget that I'm holding a camera and begin to be themselves and enjoy the setting. I do my best to set up a relaxed, no-pressure environment in order to allow the subject to be at ease. Once there's a level of comfort established, I can then focus on anticipating movement and expression and work toward maintaining a casual rhythm and energy through the session.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been formally practicing photography for over 30 years and have a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photography and Printmaking. Most of my practice has been documenting my own family (siblings and children) and over the years I've done the same for friends and others who've seen and appreciated my work.
