Working with Matt from Powell Financial was an awesome experience! He approached my financial situation very gently while also giving tangible to-dos to get me going in the right direction. As a science major in college, I was not paying enough interest in my finances. I knew I needed to budget more but didn’t know where to start. Luckily, I knew someone that was studying business and had more than enough experience from his personal businesses, Matthew Powell. Matt was able to come up with a budgeting plan that was altered specifically for me, focusing on needs versus wants and prioritizing things that were most important to me. Thanks to Matt, I was able to get control of my finances and set short-term and long-term goals.

Our fees are based off of complexity for the financial plan, then our Quarterly Advisory sessions are charged monthly after we deliver the detailed financial plan.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically it involves and in-depth conversation so that I can learn more about your goals!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken online courses and read a plethora of books to educate myself alongside my degree in Financial Planning at the University of Georgia.
