Introduction: With experience from measuring, designing, building and installing cabinetry, I can see a project through and make it look the best it can look vs. someone who hasn't had the experience in all areas of construction (measuring, designing, building, installing, etc). I work extremely hard to satisfy the customer and pride myself on the feeling of accomplishment I receive from the homeowner once the project is complete and they are satisfied and thrilled with the results. It is a good feeling knowing you had a part in knowing someone will admire the finished product in the future. Having designed kitchens and baths for so long, I can often visualize the outcome where sometimes it is difficult for the clients to really visualize the final product until completion. I love to see the transformation of the before and after of the kitchens/baths that I tear out and replace. I like to be able to give families something they have always wanted or dreamed of and having a part in a room they will enjoy with their families and friends. I also enjoy showing clients that construction/renovation isn't always a miserable process filled with nightmare situations - I take pride in my work, my professionalism and that I have carried the knowledge of cabinetry and woodworking down from generations of my family. It is awesome to be consistently complimented for a smooth and pleasant customer experience from start to finish.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I am a third generation carpenter and grew up from a very young age learning the ins and outs of all aspects of construction (particularly cabinetry). I take pride in my work and it makes it all worth it to have my customers absolutely thrilled and satisfied with the outcome of the project from start to finish.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Kitchen cabinet and bathroom cabinet tear outs and installs would be the most common project done for my clients and it has become second nature and it is truly a great thing to see the satisfaction that they receive for decades to come from work that I have completed.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always check references that are provided by the person or people you are considering choosing to do your work as they can provide vital information regarding trustworthiness, sticking to budget/time schedule, professionalism, etc. Do not pay the entire cost of the project up front. It is standard practice to get half down (for materials and so as to ensure that both parties are committed) and the remaining half of the cost at the completion of the project. Also, get everything about the job in writing so there is no confusion regarding the materials, work, time frame, etc, of the project being done.
