I have shot in many styles including headshots, senior photos, live performance shots and press. I enjoy doing any type of portrait photography, whether it be creative or classic!
I love the fact that I can bring my visual perspective of the world to life through the camera, and am always finding new ways to capture a moment or take a photo that is unique and flattering.

I have known Abby Mortensen since she was 5 years old. During all the years that have passed, I have seen grow into a talented singer, musician, composer and photographer.
Her interest in this visual art form was born from observing the world and capturing it through macro photography.
She started participating in competitions and soon won all those that she entered. It was very obvious to me that she had a special eye through which she saw the world and that she was able to capture her vision through a camera lense.
The second summer I took some of my students to perform with New York Grand Opera in Central Park, I had her shoot the performance and do a photo shoot with legendary opera conductor and founder of NYGO, Maestro Vincent La Selva. Her work is now being showcased on his website, the company's and my studio's website.
This year, Abby did a photo shoot with each of my students for their professional head shots. As usual, the results were pretty amazing.
In addition to being an incredible artist behind and in front off the lens, Abby is a responsible and reliable professional with very high standards for herself, her work and customer service. If you have a chance to work with her, take it. You will be more than pleased with the experience and will have some beautiful photography that you are sure to treasure!

I just had my senior pictures done and Abby was patient, gave great direction, and even greater pictures. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone looking for gorgeous and original potographs!
