About
My name is Ian Taylor, I am a trained Chef of about 28 years, I have been an Executive Chef for over 23 of those years. Trained in the UK, I have gathered a wide range of culinary skills that includes the best of Europe as well as authentic Caribbean cuisine which was learnt while growing up in the Jamaica. I am a capable pastry chef as well as having an extensive knowledge of Vegan and Vegetarian food. My personality is chilled and pleasant and I enjoy putting a smile on my clients faces. I am ServSafe certified and has great knowledge regarding micro biology and the harm that unsafe practices can cause, especially in a time of uncertainty regarding COVID issues. This was my first experience with a private chef and I wasn't sure what to expect. I can wholeheartedly recommend his services. Setting: I had a small gathering of 3 friends and wanted to have a very private dinner where we could catch up. Chef Ian delivered on every level! Also, did I mention that he only had 24 hours to pull this feat off. Menu: He was very open to collaborating on the menu (even with a diner with food allergies) and was very clear on the final output and over-delivered. Food quality: Outstanding! The portions were huge and perfectly cooked. 5 star experience: My BIGGEST kudos is he was a fantastic HOST. He can fully prepared from napkins to execution and clean up. I didn't lift a single finger and could focus on my guests (which was the most important thing). My recommendation - is to try this instead of a restaurant you won't regret it!

A truly enjoyable evening highlighted by appetizers and dinner prepared by Chef Mo Seasonbay in our kitchen. First things first, the food was simply delicious and more than enough (folks went home with significant leftovers). But in addition to wonderful food, his demeanor and personality were a true plus – our guests enjoyed interacting with him (trying to learn his cooking secrets and hearing England and Jamaica stories). I found his prices very reasonable and he was business efficient. After carefully listening to my thoughts regarding the event (husband’s birthday) he made menus suggestions and was very open to my suggested changes – gently helping me to better understand his breadth of choices and allowing us to arrive at the perfect menu! Which he then printed for display in the kitchen for guests to review. My first thought was to use our china and silver, but it was very nice to have a clean kitchen at the end of dinner with a minimal dishwasher run. I used plate chargers which made it easy for plate placement and arranged my own flower centerpiece. I recommend Chef Mo Seasonbay (Ian is his real name) highly. Our guests are still raving about the entire evening. PS - He maintained all COVID precautions remaining masked throughout the entire evening, except to take this photo.

Chef Mo was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend him for any event you are planning. I booked him for my brother's bachelor party dinner and he did a great job for my brother and all of his friends. He was prompt, professional, easygoing, and always easy to get in touch with, starting from the menu planning to the event itself. He also literally took care of everything related to the meal from the moment he got to the venue, which I really appreciated (especially given all the bachelor party hijinks going on at the same time). Chef Mo accommodated several dietary restrictions, last minute changes, and even one of our guests coming very late due to a flight delay and made sure everyone was well fed and had a great time. The food itself was delicious with a lot of attention to detail and served very nicely. Thanks again Chef Mo for making this such a special night for my brother

Chef Mo was very professional throughout our engagement. I planned a birthday dinner for my husband and he made the event a very special one. From the menu selection, pricing, to the choice of music for the dinner. My husband, kids and I loved everything he cooked and will definitely be working with him again..
