We have had work done in the past with less than great results but took a chance hiring Brigadoon to build our basement to accommodate my mother. Scott and his crew did a wonderful job building our basement to accommodate all her special needs from the bath and shower to even the closets. He even added Alexa voice control of her rooms to make things easier for her. Scott did exactly what he said he would do, on time, in budget. It was a pleasure working with such a professional on our job.

Scott at Brigadoon Construction was outstanding. When quoting on our job, he provided an alternative layout plan (quite different from what we initially asked for) that we immediately realized was superior to what we previously had in mind. This creativity, and above and beyond approach, is what made us choose Scott over two other respected contractors we were carefully considering. And we are very happy that we did. He was professional and put the extra effort in to make sure we got exactly what we wanted and then some. He offered many ideas along the way (not up selling, as he was still able to meet our initial budget), several of which we incorporated into the finished product. His approach as your partner (vs. a contractor who wants to bang out the job and move on), was thoroughly refreshing and made a big difference in the experience and outcome.
The end product far exceeded our expectations. He takes time to get it right, and fabricated several components on his own in order to deliver all that we wanted within our fixed budget. We get consistent complements from all guests who see it. I will definitely use Brigadoon Construction again, and highly recommend Scott to anyone looking for top level professionalism, experience and know how, quality, and overall value for your budget. In fact, I'd go as far as to say you'd be doing yourself a disservice not to.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I can help establish a working budget for the client or work within an existing budget to design and build within set parameters.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I can do a concept design, layout and budget for the customer. I work hand in hand with your designer to implement their idea, or if needed can refer excellent interior designers for the client. Upon design selection, prints are created and budget finalized for acceptance. We also work with numerous finance organizations to best assist our client in achieving their goal.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Experienced in both residential and commercial construction.
I hold an engineering background, as well as trained as a pictorial artist. I have been doing residential renovations,remodels and home theaters for the past 30 years. I have worked for numerous companies doing design and construction from Disney, Time Warner, Six Flags, Coca-Cola and Chic-Fil-A. I moved heavily into the residential market specializing in Additions, Renovations and Disability constructions. We design and build in-law suites for aging parents and incorporate technology into the house for home assistance to a completely new level.
