David did a very professional job repairing my old hardwood dining room chairs! It was a great value over replacing them with the cheap, poorly made chairs. It seems like that's all you can find new these days, but David has a deep appreciation for the quality and craftsmanship of something well-made. It is evident in his work that he has a passion to repair things the right way, so they will last you years to come! I plan to bring any future furniture repair work his way.

David at The Broken Chair is a knowledgeable and very talented Craftsman. I came to him with a literal broken chair, and he restored it no problem. There were some broken structural components and was unusable for anyone to sit in. David not only fixed the cracked and broken wood but literally pulled the whole chair apart, refurbished, reassembled and re-glued it. It's stronger than before and looks great. If you have an older piece of furniture that you really enjoy but has broken, I suggest before you just replace it see what David can do for you.

I brought a family heirloom rocking chair that was in rough shape, extremely creaky, with broken spindles. David was able to fix the chair up, seamlessly replace the spindles with ones he crafted himself, and eliminate the creakiness for a very reasonable price. Will definitely use his services again!
