- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. Rec'd MBA in Hospitality Management with Concentration in Event Planning......correspond periodically with Professor and Certified Event Planner.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Many years I made gifts and gave them away. After 16 yrs with fed govt, I became sick and out of work. My daughter suggested that I try to sale my gift baskets. versa giving for free.. I began to take classes and enjoyed how my work looked. A few years layer, I had a fire. Once recg the go ahead to return home, I was looking for a nice centerpiece but couldn't fine anything I liked so I got my mom and went to get what I needed. My mom said, what. That night I sat down in my den floor and made my first flower centerpiece. Next day I picked up my mom, brought her to my house, so she could see my work. Her first response to me was, "this is what you should be doing." I have been creating various gifts and flower arrangements every since.
