FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start the relationship by providing a FREE vocal or acting assessment which includes a voluntary demonstration of their talent and completion of a brief intake form. The form helps us to gather a little more information about the customer's artistic background, interests, and goals they wish to achieve through training. In this process we can quickly determine how to customize their training and the best strategies to help them achieve their goals based upon their skill level. This is also a good way for them to get to know us better and to hear what we have to offer them in specific detail! Overall both parties have an opportunity to assess whether we are a good match for each other!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
First and foremost a life time of development, Independent Artistry, Stage Performance, Touring, and Studio Recording Experience supported by training and mentorship under the guidance and expertise of seasoned veterans in music, stage, and theater as: Bob Garrett (7 Time Broadway Veteran), Michele Shay (Tony nominated Award winning Actor/Director/NYU/Instructor), Denise Woods (Denise Woods Studios/CSUN Instructor), Roger Beale (The Voice House), Babbie Mason (Christian Music Hall of Famer and Dove Award Winner Artist and Conference Host) Dustin Hoffman Master Class, Dr. Shirlene Holmes (Prolific Award winning Actor and Playwright/GSU Professor), Dr. Cindy Milligan (The Vox Fox), Kent Skov, Comedian & Improv Trainer (The LA Connection Comedy Theatre) to name some.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love people and the Creative Arts! My purpose is to build-up and propel people to greatness! Being a performer who gives my all, people recognize the work ethic and excellence they want for themselves so they always ask: How do you do it? How did you get started? Can you help me sing or ACT like a pro? Can you help me not be nervous when I'm in front of people? I had the answers and being a teacher at heart I knew I could help them understand "technique" in a way that many trainers cannot. It was revealed to me that I was one of very few experts who cares about the whole person -- the whole craft -- and who can train from stage experience! I saw a tremendous need to help others nurture their life line of creativity and by doing so I could make a difference in many lives, perhaps save a life! Plus I absolutely love it!
